Where I Shop for Discounted Furniture in the Bay
It’s officially November, which means Black Friday is right around the corner and the furniture deals are about to get good. If you’re planning to refresh your space, now’s the perfect time to get your wallets ready. There are some good furniture outlet stores in the bay area, or wherever you live. One recommendation I have is try to haggle! Most outlets are trying to clear inventory to make room for new shipments. They get deliveries every few days, so they need the floor space.
If you let them know you can pick up your item right away, you can potentially get more of a discount. They want the items out ASAP, so take that information as you will! Of course, it also depends on the employee helping you and making sure you’re asking for a reasonable price. I’ll share what I scored in the next few weeks… Just note that I was able to get the price down by roughly $450!
Here are the list of furniture outlets / discounted stores in the bay:
Crate & Barrel Outlet - Livermore Outlet (I follow their IG and watch their lives daily. You can also call them if you’re looking for something specific!)
Restoration Hardware Outlet - Livermore Outlet (Their prices are still $$$, but I sill think it’s worth it)
Pottery Barn Outlet - Great Mall, Milpitas CA
West Elm Outlet - Vacaville, CA
Crate & Barrel Outlet - Vacaville, CA (I enjoy the Livermore one more)
Restoration Hardware Outlet - Vacaville, CA
Fine Estate Inc - San Rafael, CA (Estate sales - it’s a hit or miss but their sales are amazing. Check their website before going!)
Robert Federighi Furniture Sale - San Rafael, CA (Designing firm, but they’re currently have a sale. I found a vintage Ralph Lauren desk for $900 that was originally $18K…)
Alameda Antique Fair - Alameda, CA (First Sunday of every month)
Facebook Market Place - (This can be super time consuming, but I absolutely LOVE it. If you ever need help, work with me and I will happily search for you)
Even if you’re not in the Bay, you likely have an outlet of these stores. Go on IG and most of them have their on IGs where they showcase what pieces they have.
